WiMaC Technologies (West India Manufacturing Company) develops and manufactures complete products near Mumbai, India. Electronics engineering, industrial design, rapid prototyping, tooling, injection moulding, assembly and packaging all happen in-house, so a product can go from first sketch to retail-ready without hand-offs between vendors.

WiMaC was established in 2019 as a lamp manufacturing company under the brand name LIT Lamps, specialising in 3D acrylic lamps and creative lighting solutions. It has since expanded into products such as LED frames and panels, is now expanding into consumer electronics and appliances, and runs a factory near Mumbai with two assembly lines and one packing line.

The factory is near Mumbai in Maharashtra, India. It covers 4,000 sq ft today, and a 30,000 sq ft facility is planned for 2027.

WiMaC has a capacity of 30,000 units a month, running two assembly lines and one packing line with multi-stage quality checks.

Yes. As an OEM (original equipment manufacturer), WiMaC builds a product to a brand's own specification and design. As an ODM (original design manufacturer), WiMaC designs the product as well as building it, and hands over a finished, brandable product. Both routes use the same in-house electronics, tooling and assembly lines near Mumbai.

CKD (completely knocked down) and SKD (semi knocked down) are ways of shipping a product as a kit for final assembly in the destination market, instead of shipping it fully built. This can reduce import duty and freight, and can meet local-assembly requirements. WiMaC offers both CKD and SKD, alongside its OEM, ODM and BOT (build, operate, transfer) manufacturing models.

Yes. One team covers electronics (PCB layout, firmware and battery systems), industrial design, prototyping, tooling and injection moulding, assembly with quality checks, and packaging and delivery. You can bring a brief, a sketch or a finished design.

WiMaC runs its own 100 W laser machine (4 x 3 ft bed) for cutting and engraving, a 20 W galvo laser (1 x 1 ft bed) for marking, a pad printing machine, a K1 Max FDM 3D printer (300 mm cube) and an SLA resin 3D printer. Prototyping, marking and finishing happen on the factory floor, so nothing waits in a vendor's queue.

WiMaC has done in-house R&D and manufacturing since 2019, has developed more than 50 products, and holds or has filed 10 design patents. Its skilled workforce is more than 35 people.

Yes. WiMaC runs an in-house 100 W laser (4 x 3 ft bed) for cutting and a 20 W galvo laser for marking and engraving, plus in-house UV printing for custom finishes.
